Offering and extensive range of modules to cater for all
users, large and small, the SIM-board USB range sets a new standard in simulator
interface technology. Capable of driving a wide range of switches, rotary
encoders, potentiometers, LEDs, 7-segment displays and relays, the new SIM-board
USB range boasts a powerful yet easy-to-use feature set, while maintaining
the range at affordable prices.
- Modules available in a range of node counts and functionality to suit your
requirements and budget (unlike other providers)
- Starter packs available - everything you need to start wiring switches
and LEDs and make them work with Flight Simulator
- 2 types of module - Input and Output - cater for all of LEDs, segments,
switches, encoders and potentiometers
- Start small, grow later with firmware upgrades when you want them (unlike
other providers)
- Modules interconnect using standard USB cables to form a "chain",
from 1 to 100 modules per chain

need for a module to have so many connections that it gets unmanageable
- Locate each module where you want it to be - close to the hardware it controls
- no central stack required
- Run up to 100 modules from just 1 PC USB port - no extra USB hubs required
(unlike other providers)
- Total daisy chain length can be upto 50 metres / 160 ft (unlike other providers)
- not limited by typical USB length contraint of 5 metres from the PC - ideal
for large scale cockpit projects requiring maximum flexibility in module location
and control
- Plug-and-play - boards automatically recognised the moment they are plugged
in
- Connect your boards in any order on the chain
- Multiple chains can be made from multiple PC USB ports if required
- Easy crimp-contact header pin connections to connect your hardware
- High resistance to static interference / power cable interference
