SIM-board USB Master Module
The Master Module is a required module in your
SIM-board USB chain. Only one master module is required per chain. It can support up to 100 function modules (
SIM-board USB Input or
SIM-board USB Output Modules).
The Master Module provides no input or output function. It acts as the communications link between the function modules on your chain and the PC.
Connect your Master Module directly to a spare USB 2.0 port on your PC. Then connect your first function module (input or output) to the Master Module. Connect subsequent function modules to each other in a daisy-chain fashion to form your chain of modules. An example

This module is supplied
without a USB cable. They can be purchased separately, if required.
Please Note
All SIM-board modules are currently NOT compatible with Windows Vista operating system. You should use these modules only on a Windows XP (recommended) or Windows 2000 system.
